Alka Kunst Rearing Horse

The name of the company Alboth and Kaiser came about in 1922 with the marriage of Erna Alboth (her father owned the company up to then) to Georg Kaiser. The firm continued to use the name Alka up to 1970, when it became better known as Kaiser Porcelain, and has used that brand since then.

The Alka-Kunst back stamp on this figure was in use from 1953 to 1970, but I cannot date it more accurately than that.

The figure is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
